I am a visual artist and museum professional with a BFA (1996) and MFA (2005) in drawing and painting from the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art where I received a research and performance grant from the Center for Humanities and Arts and was a recipient of the Mike Nicholson Scholarship for the Study Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy. My paintings and sculpture have been included in numerous exhibitions across the U.S. as well as in Italy. In 1996 I began work at the Georgia Museum of Art in the department of exhibitions and design where I worked to install hundreds of exhibitions from 1996 until 2011. In 2011 I worked in the conservation lab at the Georgia Archives with conservator Tina Mason Seetoo. After moving to LaGrange Georgia in 2011 I have worked with the Cochran Gallery, the LaGrange Art Museum, the Lamar Dodd Art Center at LaGrange College and the Visual Artists Alliance of LaGrange.
